We had two an incredible days in the Koorana centre, Ardingly. 13th May we organized the most popular EcoEthno workshop – Native American dreamcatcher.  In the Koorana centre we had special dreamcatcher workshop only with natural materials beads: minerals, stone, shell and wood. 14th May in the Koorana centre Friends’ Day we organized upcycling workshop ‘How to make an instrument from recycled materials’. A lot of instruments we made from recycled materials. We used kinder chocolate boxes, toilet paper roils and nut shells plus paper, glue and sparkly things!

One sunny day of May I had amazing Dream catcher workshop for big group of 12. It was a perfect time and a funny company. Nobody previously had craft making experience, but it turn out well. Everyone made the small Dream catcher for home or as a gift to a friend.

Similar craft workshops are available for group sessions. Good time and great mood are guaranteed!  Contact me by email: ecoethno.london@gmail.com

We have a very long Easter holiday at home. It is a very hard time with 4 kids, because I am working at home. My sons want my attention and I like to do workshops with them. Do you know any boys who want sew?! No boys would like that, but not my kids. I was ready for sewing workshop before Easter and all of them disturbed me  and asked:”Mammy, we want to sew Ester eggs and birds!” Ok, guys, no problem. I did  sewing workshop for them and you can look at the photos.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. And I am trying to create something sweet and original for this day. There was a strong wind outside so we found a lot of tree twigs on the pavement. We collected dry ones and made lovely hearts. It was a very simple and cheap workshop and now we have 4 very nice home decorations for Valentine’s Day. Besides, two of my sons, 9 and 8 years old, used a hot glue gun for the first time.

All our workshops are filmed and put to YouTube. I am sorry, but it is in Lithuanian language and you probably will not understand it, but hopefully one day I will do the titres in English. Anyway, you can see the process of the workshop in this video.

A lot of hard work and not much to show. My children were making bowls for long 3 days, but they loved this work, because the results are amazing.  Papier mache is a good technique for making a lot of different souvenirs, toys or home decorations. For this workshop we needed glue, newspaper and a lot of patience. We glued more than 10 layers of newspaper and were waiting for two days before painting and decorating our bowls.  You can also use this technique for making big eggs as Easter decorations.

All our workshops my older son Kristupas filmed with my phone and we put to YouTube. I am sorry, but it is in Lithuanian language and you can‘t understand, but maybe one day I will do English titres. Anyway, you can look at our workshop process in video.

After my last blog post was long and busy time in my life, but Christmas time finished and I can tell you our stories. I had great time with my 4 kids and we had a lot of workshops at home all Christmas holiday. Was not easy to prepare a new workshop every day, but I worked very hard and I did it! Today I want to show you one of our workshop photo gallery. You can look how it easy to make Snowmen from white socks. My kids love Olaf from Frozen and we made two variants of snowmen. One of them was very easy to make from toilet paper rolls. The other one was harder – from white socks.

All our workshops my older son Kristupas filmed with my phone and we put to YouTube. I am sorry, but it is in Lithuanian language and you can‘t understand, but maybe one day I will do English titres. Anyway, you can look at our workshop process in video.

During the sewing workshop you will get an opportunity to make 2-3 coloured capital letters, angels, dwarfs from fleece material and decorate them. These can be the first letters of your name or your children’s names. Such letters may be a perfect gift to a friend. You will be provided with all the necessary materials and other tools. The workshop may take place at any location of your choice. This is a great and useful time spending activity while drinking tea with your friends or family and during that time you can create something nice and sweet for your beloved ones.
